Picture this: Our kids are at co-op and we have a few minutes to chat. You want to know what’s helped me in my bilingual homeschool because you’re thinking of ways to do more with yours.
Mom, if you’re anything like me, I know you keep searching for ways to improve on all aspects of your life (including your relationships, your parenting, your homeschool, perhaps your cooking, your crafting game, etc.), realizing that you can only do so much.
While I don’t have a course to sell you, I do have several free and paid resources that might help you because they’ve also significantly benefited me.
As time goes on, I’ll keep adding more items to this list, so consider this a “living” page that I hope and pray you’ll take great advantage of.
Memberships
Read-Aloud Revival Premium and Circle with Sarah
Read-Aloud Revival Premium is homeschooling mom of six, bestselling author*, publisher, and speaker Sarah Mackenzie’s membership program, in which she further helps families enhance their reading life by offering family book clubs and mama book clubs (with beautiful and thorough guides!), classes, workshops, and even online retreats to help us and our people form stronger bonds through books. Reading aloud has helped her children thrive, and she wants to ensure we offer that to our kids as well with the help of her resources.
Last but not least, Circle with Sarah is her podcast for RAR Premium members. Her episodes, which include short inspirational tips (sometimes based in Scripture) and replays of meeting and retreat recordings, mentor us moms into helping us becoming the “joy-filled, peaceful mamas we’re called to be.”
*You HAVE to look into Sarah’s children’s books! (I’ll list her books for moms below.) They’re in English, but they’re just awe-inspiring, beautiful, and instant classics for your whole family. We have a few and always look forward to her upcoming releases!
Restoration Home Community (RHC)
This membership program is by homeschooling mom of seven, bestselling author, speaker, and curriculum creator *Jennifer Pepito. (She also hosts the free Restoration Home Podcast, which I’ll discuss below.)
RHC is the group (hosted on the Band platform) that connects moms who want to bring more peace and harmony to their homes. In it, Jennifer reminds us that us moms are our home’s thermostat, and through discussion posts where we all come together, videos, assignments, book clubs, and workshops on habits, Bible verses, and virtues, we learn ways to better ourselves so we can become a more positive influence on our families.
Enrollment opens a few times a year and she shares discount codes for its membership just as frequently.
*I know this isn’t the official section of this site where I talk about curriculum, but I thought I should add here as well that the promo code PEACEFUL gives you 15% off to Jennifer’s website at thepeacefulpress.com.
