Together, let’s create a harmonious home-based learning environment where your little one can truly thrive!
Here’s creator Jennifer Pepito with more information:
Types of skills or subjects included in each weekly grid:
- Read Aloud: The curriculum suggests a book or you can use your own. (Bonus points if it matches that week’s “theme” set by the letter.)
- Phonics: Tracing a letter with salt is a common activity.
- Counting Skills: Where the child counts a small number of regular objects.
- Fine Motor Skills: These have the child transferring using measuring spoons, for instance.
- Large Motor Skills: These sometimes have you all pretend you’re animals or play with a ball outside.
- Practical Life Skills: Learning how to properly move a chair is one such activity.
- Art Skills: Watercolors are commonly called for.
My Opinion
Created by Jennifer Pepito, The Peaceful Preschool has been among our favorite programs to follow every day. Activities are gentle in that they’re not rigorous or too academic but still sufficiently semi-formal to give you as the parent a nice introduction into homeschooling and what doing and learning things collaboratively feels like.
After some thought, I realized that my favorite part of this curriculum for our bilingual family is that while it’s entirely in English, I can adapt everything into Spanish because its Parent Guide’s instructions are minimal. If you have a good grasp of both your languages, you can easily pretend each day’s “menu” is in the minority language and adapt it to your daily rhythm.
You never know what you’re going to get each week (I mean you find out soon enough as you’re planning the week ahead), but I’ve been so encouraged from all the lovely surprises I come across and it makes me very excited to introduce them to our children.
Each activity’s very thoughtfully brought up. They’re things that I may not have thought of incorporating into our day but they’re always hits. It’s like Jennifer took great care to come up with wholesome, family- and age-appropriate activities.

What It Includes
- A Parent Guide with an introduction, several lists, weekly grids with suggested activities across seven subjects and types of skills, and an overview/longer description of each day’s activities
- Printables with letter and number flashcards, plus patterns for several of the crafts listed
- NOTE: The Digital Bundle doesn’t separate these files, so I recommend using your PDF app/program of choice (we use Stirling PDF) if you’d like to have your Parent Guide printed and bound like a notebook so it’s more portable and easier to keep separate from the printables (which you can then print as needed).
